Current Information

Have you signed up for one of the distances of the Utrecht Marathon held on 12 May yet?  This great event starting from and finishing at our own Utrecht Science Park should not be missed! The tracks runs along some the most beautiful locations in our beautiful city and is dotted with musical intervals that make it into a lively Utrecht event. If you want to run individually, you can take part individually in either the quarter marathon (10.55 km), the half (21.1 km) or the full marathon (42.195 km). There is also a mini-marathon for kids of 4 to 12 years old (1.5 km).

Do you prefer to run as a team? Sign up for the quarter marathon (10.55 km) with a team of 3 to 5 persons and take part in the Student Run, Hospital Run or Business Run! The times run by the three fastest athletes in your team will count towards the team ranking.

Check the Utrecht Marathon website for further information and registration.

NB: employees of Utrecht University, UMC Utrecht and Olympos can sign up for free (up to a specific maximum number of athletes). Check the intranet or other news channels within your organisation.

KWF: Run to beat cancer!

Marathon Utrecht supports KWF Kankerbestrijding. Do you want to run to beat cancer too? Add meaning to your performance by collecting donations for ground-breaking cancer research. Unfortunately, this is much needed as as many as 1 in 3 people in the Netherlands still are confronted with a cancer diagnosis. All contributions collected during the Utrecht Marathon will be used towards the research into cancer in children conducted by the Prinses Máxima Center at the Utrecht Science Park. You can create your own event page to organise your own sponsoring. It is easy to set up and can be shared with friends, family, colleagues and anyone else you want to share it with.
