STUdance
STUdance is THE biggest student dance club in Utrecht. Nearly 300 members participate in dance lessons and groups at various levels. STUdance offers hiphop, jazz, contemporary, classical ballet and streetdance. In additon, STUdance offers a mix-class; an ideal class at beginner level to try out various dance styles. There is also a special techniques class, during which you can work on your strength and posture, among other things.
Since this year STUdance has not 1 but 2 demo teams! One specialized in Modern/Jazz called D.A.M.N (Dance And Move Now) and one specialized in hiphop called H.E.A.T. (High Engery And Teamwork). The demo teams consist of enthusiastic STUdancers who regularly perform at events.
Besides dancing, STUdance is a club for fun and social activities. Enthusiastic committees within STUdance organize a lot of activities, free of any obligation, during the year. Like monthly drinks in our favourite bar, parties, workshops, theatre outings, unforgettable weekend outings and the prom. Each season we conclude with a great performance which all club members are involved in. In 2020 this will take place again in the ‘Stadsschouwburg’.

Want to become a member?
If you wish to become a member of an SSC, you will have to:
- Pay membership fees to the club of your choice. The fees may differ per club.
- Own a valid OlymPas or Sports Club Card. If you’re in rate category A an OlymPas is required. If you’re in rate category B or C, you can choose between an OlymPas or the Sports Club Card.
- Register for free at Olympos as a member of you SSC.
