Climbing proficiency exam
Do you have a wealth of climbing experience, but still no official NKBV climbing proficiency certificate? Then it is possible to obtain your IT climbing proficiency certificate by taking an exam at Olympos. You will be assessed by a climbing instructor certified by the NKBV on safe belaying and climbing and your knowledge of the materials according to the NKBV guidelines.
After passing the exam you will immediately be permitted to climb.
Bring your own climbing equipment (belt with a well-filled puff bag, safety harness and shoes).
Please note: with a valid OlymPas and climbing certificate you can climb unlimited on Kalymnos.
Rate proficiency exam
Registering for the climbing proficiency exam costs € 25 (entrance and climbing skills certificate from the association are included). You do not need an OlymPas to register and participate in the climbing proficiency exam.

- If there is only 1 registration, the exam cannot take place. If you want to be sure that your test will take place, it is an option to bring a fellow candidate who wants to have the same climbing skills tested (he or she can also just register for the same climbing proficiency exam), or a climber who already has that climbing proficiency certificate at the same level (tope or lead climbing). In the latter case, the climber needs a valid admission ticket (OlymPas - which can also be a 3-day OlymPas - or USAC ticket) and must come to the Service desk in advance. If the exam is passed, you can continue climbing.
