Military exercise on Saturday 31 October

On Saturday 31 October, a large-scale military exercise will take place between 07:00 and 14:00 in and around Utrecht Science Park.

During the exercise, there will be additional transport movements between military locations east of Utrecht and the UMC Utrecht Emergency Hospital. Military vehicles, ambulances and fire engines, amongst others, will be deployed. Some of these vehicles will be travelling under the escort of the Royal Military Police with flashing lights and sirens.

Please note: this is part of the exercise and there is no actual emergency.

The exercise may cause some disruption to road users and visitors to the USP.
