SB Helios

SB Helios is the student badminton club in Utrecht. We have over 100 members whom are all students or recent graduates and therefore all within the 18-26 age bracket. Helios offers you the opportunity to show and improve your badminton skills in recreational, practice and league settings. We play on Tuesday and Friday evenings; league games take place on Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings. Our recreational teams participate in the fourth division and higher, a conveniently wide range. A student city like Utrecht cannot exist without us! 

International students
We welcome the many international students in Utrecht; on game nights you regularly hear someone speaking English. Furthermore, each year we organise our own International Student Badminton Tournament (ISBT) where we get to meet other national and international clubs. 

Social activities
As Helios is a student club, we offer social as well as sports activities. Every three or four weeks we organise events such as gala dinners, karaoke-nights, cycling dinners, weekends away, and bowling nights. On evenings on which we play we finish with drinks at the Sport Café.
