USP Games
On Thursday, September 24, teams from companies at Utrecht Science Park will compete against each other in the very first USP Games.
Sportcentrum Olympos and Play-off are bringing companies at Utrecht Science Park together for a fun and friendly afternoon of soccer, pickleball, and cornhole.
Starting at 3:00 p.m., company teams will face off at Sportcentrum Olympos. The focus will be on sportsmanship, fun and a bit of competition. Afterwards, there will of course be time to socialize over some food and drinks.
Three sports, one team
During the USP Games, you can participate in three different sports:
5×5 soccer
A fast and dynamic form of soccer in which two teams of five players compete against each other. Played on a smaller field, the focus is on teamwork, fun, and of course, scoring as many goals as possible.
2×2 pickleball
Pickleball is a fun racquet sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. You play in pairs against each other on a compact court: it’s quick to learn, a great way to stay active, and above all, really fun to play together.
2×2 cornhole
In cornhole, you and your teammate work together to throw bags into - or as close as possible to - the hole in the board. It’s simple to get started, but aiming under pressure quickly turns out to be a lot be much trickier!
Enter your company in all three sports!
Does your company want to go for the full USP Games experience? Then put together a team of at least 9 participants and compete in all three sports. Keep in mind that the different sports might take place at the same time.
For €250 per company team, you’ll get:
- Participation in soccer, pickleball, and cornhole.
- Your own spot for your company on the grounds.
- Extra drink tokens and snacks.
- And of course, the chance at eternal glory as the winner of the very first USP Games!

Would you rather participate in just one sport?
Don’t want to participate in all three sports? That’s possible too. As a company, you can register separately for soccer, pickleball, or cornhole via the Play-off events page. To do so, log in via the Play-off app and register a team for the sport of your choice. It’s also possible for a company to register multiple teams for the same sport.
