UTKA Ultimate
UTKA Ultimate is an ultimate frisbee student association. Ultimate frisbee is an upcoming team sport in the Netherlands and already gives hundreds of players a great and fun way to be in shape and meet a lot of cool people. UTKA trains weekly in mixed teams on Monday nights from 6.00 PM till 7.30 PM and Wednesday nights from 8.00 PM till 10.00 PM. Our team(s) battle along in the Dutch league and participates in various (international) tournaments. In addition to the sporting activities UTKA organizes parties, BBQs and social drinks.
You don't need any experience to join a training. Both men and women are more than welcome to join a training anytime!
Training and competition
The competition season is divided into three periods. The first period is from August to October, the second from November to February and the third from March to July. In the second period UTKA trains indoors at Galgenwaard stadium, the other two periods outside on the combi pitch at Olympos.
