Strength, adventure, and altitude: period B sports courses open for registration

Registration for the new series of short sports courses opens on Monday 29 September at 9 AM. Lessons begin the week of 13 October. This fall, you can register at Olympos for strength workout for beginners, survival run, and various climbing courses (top rope, technique, and lead climbing).

Strength workout for beginners

Do you want to get stronger, move better, and learn how to train responsibly? In this course, you'll be introduced to all the basic forms of strength training in a small group setting: from barbells and kettlebells to bodyweight exercises. You'll learn proper technique, how to structure a training program, and how to prevent injuries. Afterward, you can train independently and confidently at Kratistos or move on to other challenging courses. Click here for more information.

Survival run

Running, climbing, swinging, and persevering: survival running is a real challenge! In five 1.5-hour workouts, you'll learn the basic techniques step by step and work on your strength, fitness, and technique. You'll conclude the course with a mini survival run that brings everything together. Ideal if you enjoy variety and a sporting challenge outdoors. Click here for more information.

Climbing Courses
  • Top Rope (beginners): Learn to belay and climb safely and obtain your NKBV Indoor Top Rope climbing proficiency certificate in four weeks.
  • Technique (advanced): Discover how to climb more efficiently with improved foot placement, balance, and movement technique.
  • Lead Climbing (advanced): Learn to lead climb independently, practice belaying, and falling, and obtain your NKBV Indoor Lead Climbing certificate.
    All climbing courses are held at our Kalymnos climbing wall and are tailored to your level, from first steps to serious progress.
