Olympos renews!
Welcome to the new Olympos website
Olympos switched to a completely new system for all business processes! Part of this is an updated website and webshop.
What is different for you as an athlete?
Most importantly:
- SCO number has been dropped. Login is via your email address.
- If you haven't already: Re-activate your account on the new site. Log in with your email address and request a new password via ‘password forgotten’ (you may also re-enter your old password, if it meets the password requirements). Then your account will work again and you can book sports offers on the new site.
- To purchase/extend an OlymPas and reserve a sports offer, login and go to “tickets”. Under tickets you will find the current offers for which you can make reservations.
- From Monday 2 June, the access gates (turnstiles), located at various places, will start working (they close). To gain access, you can scan the QR code belonging to your reservation (ticket) at the gate. You can read more below under ‘QR codes and access gates’. There will also be extra staff at Olympos to help you if needed!
Below is a summary of what (more) is changing:
New website
The new website is fully responsive (i.e. easy to view on your phone).
Account details and reservations have been transferred
If you have had a valid OlymPas in the past 1.5 years, your details (if available) have been transferred to the new site, including your OlymPas (if still valid) and your current reservations and (SSC) registrations.
Login has changed!
Logging in and booking sports offers is different now. Logging in to the new website is no longer done with your SCO number (which is no longer valid!), but with your email address.
Re-activate your account: Log in again and request a new password!
Log in to the new site and click on ‘forgot password’. Enter a new password (can also be your old one, if it meets the password requirements). Then your account will again be linked to your valid OlymPas or other current registrations or products and you will again be able to book sports offers and purchase and renew your OlymPas. Also upload a new photo!
Don't know your e-mail address?
Are you unable to log in and request a new password via 'forgott password'? Then call the Service Desk at (030) 253 4471. They can then hopefully find your account based on your name and date of birth.
New to Olympos? Then create an account
Athletes who are new to Olympos, or have had a valid pass longer than about 1.5 years ago, can simply create a new account.
Upload a new photo
A photo in your account is mandatory. Upload a new photo (max 2 MB). You can do this yourself via 'My Details” (log in first). After the first upload, a new photo can only be placed at the Service Desk.
Tickets and QR code
On this new site, when you reserve something, you will receive a so-called “ticket”.
A ticket gives you access to a group lesson, course or timeslot. On the ticket is a QR code. From Monday 2 June, the turnstiles (gates) located at various places on Olympos will start working (closing), and you will be able to open the gate by scanning the QR code. In effect, you then check in to your served activity. A staff member at Olympos may also check the QR code with a handheld scanner. So make sure you always make reservations!
QR codes and access gates
From Monday 2 June, the access gates will (gradually) start working (close). The gates are located in the central hall (to the changing rooms, fitness, squash and sports halls), at the entrance to the dance halls and at the fitness (gym). To gain access, you can scan the QR code associated with your reservation (ticket) at the gate. Below you can see how long in advance you can go through the (relevant) gates with the QR code and where you can find the QR code of your reservation in 'My Olympos'. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them at the Service Desk or to the extra employees who will be present during the first period.

Physical pass disappears, online pass
Wer have switched to a digital pass. This saves costs and plastic. As an athlete, you will also be able to arrange more things digitally yourself and thus have to visit the sports desk less often. You can find your online OlymPas in “My Olympos” -> “My Products” There you can also see how long it is still valid and see your other products and reservations that are current.
The app for group lessons no longer works
Some athletes still used the (outdated) Olympos app to book group lessons. After the transition to the new system, it no longer works. Of course, you can book group lessons via the new (responsive) website (click here). The app for the gym (Olympos Gym) is still up and running.
The new site as a shortcut on your phone
You can easily add the Olympos website to the home screen of your phone. For example, read here how to do that.
Purchasing (or renewing) your OlymPas and reserve sports offers!
You can arrange this in My Olympos (after logging in); go via 'Buy Tickets'.
New OlymPasses on offer
Besides the OlymPas annual pass and OlymPas monthly pass, we now also have the 3-month pass and 3-day pass on offer. Just like the already existing OlymPasses, these passes also start from the date of purchase.
Purchase an OlymPas at a discount
Are you among the lucky ones who can purchase the OlymPas at a discount? Buying or renewing a pass with a discount is different than before! See below.
How do I get a discount? Online check to settle discount (“validation”)
If you are entitled to a discount and if you study or work at an institution affiliated with SURF, you can settle your discount online via “validation”.
This is how it works:
- When you put a product for which you have to pay (such as the OlymPas or a course for which you have to pay extra) in your shopping cart, you will initially see the third-party rate (rate C).
- If you are entitled to a discount and if you study or work at an institution affiliated to SURF, you can use the “validate” button in your shopping cart to check whether you are indeed entitled to a discount.
- Choose your institution
- You then log in with your institution's account details.
- After approval, the discount is calculated and you can checkout your discounted product. (No data are exchanged, only an online check takes place to see if you are actually registered as a student or employee of that institution).

Discount in another way
If you work for an organisation that also has a partner agreement with Olympos (allowing you to play sports at a discount as well), but that is not a member of SURF, you can settle your discount in another way than stated above. It sounds complicated but is very easy. You can find tailor-made information on this under “Rates”.

Why a new system?
It's quite a job, of course. However, the current system shows limits in usability and integration capacity with modern tools and technologies. With the new business software, we expect to gain more insight into sports usage and needs so that we can better respond to them, save costs and better combat black sports. From Monday 2 June, the access gates will also be commissioned. You will read more about this later on this page or in the newsletter (be sure to check your e-mail) and socials.
